It is part of the project “Skills Training Programme for Museum Specialists Working in Exhibit Digitisation Field – 2010” funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania. The seminars are intended for museum specialists to develop their competence in digitisation field. By the end of 2010 there will be organized a total number of eight seminars for photographers and scanning specialists. During the seminars, the participants are introduced with the particularities of photographing and scanning museum valuables and also gain some practical skills. The other four seminars are intended for museum curators and cover rather different fields, namely the compilation of classifiers and dictionaries, the preparation of exhibit descriptions as well as the Integral Virtual Exhibition System (http://www.muziejai.lt/emuziejai/) developed by the LM CID LIMIS. The seminars are held in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai and Panevėžys.
